From stories of your childhood, or maybe your parents’ childhood, we love collecting illustrations from The Golden Age of Illustration. A time during the late 1800s through the mid 1900s.
Cicely Mary Barker was probably best known for her “flower fairies” but I enjoy the old storybook illustrations that are found in old picture books.
This is an example of Ms Barker’s work from an old book called “Old Rhymes For All Times”. A young boy and a girl, count their coins in a cottage garden next to an old-fashioned straw beehive.
These prints are all sold out at my eBay store, but you are welcome to download them for your personal use.
