Representative flower arrangements of 20th century Japan, these color block prints were issued by the Nippon Flower Arrangement Society in Kyoto. These lovely and vibrant full-color relief prints were created using a color line block method, with hand-drawn line artwork supported by mechanical tint and solid tone. The paper is medium-weight art stock with a buff-yellow tint.
Letterpress text in English and Japanese describes the Arrangement, the Vessel, the School, and the intent of the Composer.
They were printed in 1938, Nippon (Japan).
