Tall Ships – The Golden Age of Sail

These lovely color offset lithographs celebrate the Tall Ships of the Golden Age of Sail. A time when sea trade was the norm, and cargo ships were the method by which international trade was conducted.

A tall ship is a large, traditionally-rigged sailing vessel. Popular modern tall ship rigs include topsail schooners, brigantines, brigs and barques.

These original prints of famous paintings were printed over 80 years ago in 1925, London. They are tipped-in (attached at one edge) on heavyweight art paper with a decorative letterpress border and a subtle description at the lower left.
